Sure, Lily Winters on Y&R did her time after causing the car accident that led to Hilary Curtis’s (Mishael Morgan) death, & now it’s like it never happened.
Well… it’s almost like it didn’t happen as Mishael Morgan is back on Y&R as Hilary’s identical twin, Amanda Sinclair.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) doesn’t mind his high horse either. Who seriously dates their deceased wife’s identical twin sister, & then moves in with them?

Billy Abbott Helps Chelsea With Her Closest Call Yet
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) managed to catch Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) before she ended things permanently. He has since committed to staying by her side to provide support to her during her treatment.
Lily Winters on Y&R isn’t having it. Billy Abbott does continue to provide support to the ladies that he has slept with & it hasn’t always been necessary. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) simply let things go too far with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Also, The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tolerating Ashland early on & sponsoring their wedding made almost no sense.
Chelsea’s turmoil is a whole other thing. Chelsea Lawson clearly has some mental health challenges & has inadvertently pushed away almost everyone closest to her. She needs any support she can get.
Is Lily Winters Really This Cold-Hearted on Y&R?
Lily & Billy haven’t been the dynamite-hot couple they once were since Chancellor Winters merged. Billy Abbott is not meant for the corporate world & wearing a suit full time. He’s totally creative with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Hiring Billy Abbott as COO at C-W was like sticking a square peg in a round hole. It’s not going to work no matter how many times anyone tries.
Although Billy on his own doing his podcast was pretty boring initially, bringing on Chelsea totally spiced things up. The podcast seemed to be a healthy outlet for Chelsea to be productive & to have a purpose. This was until Lily convinced Billy to back away from the podcast together as it was taking away from his responsibilities as COO at C-W.
Now Chelsea feels like she’s lost everything & could not have been closer to ending her life. Billy has left Chancellor Winters altogether & Lily has about had it with Billy at home as well.
