Lily on Y&R is the new bitch in Genoa City. She cannot stand that her significant other Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) saved Chelsea from taking her life & has committed to being there for her since.
Yes, Billy left Chancellor Winters & hasn’t found his next job opportunity. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) can’t see that perhaps Billy’s free time is divine intervention to be in the right place at the right time to help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) with her mental health challenges, ultimately saving her life.
Why can’t Lily Winters view Billy’s current free time as a blessing to help someone they know in need? Billy Abbott was in the right place at the right time to save Chelsea’s life & has been there for her since.
Even Chelsea’s longtime rival Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has been beyond supportive of Chelsea after Billy called her for help. Sharon even managed to have the apartment she owns above Crimson Lights available for her to move into.
Because of Sharon, Chelsea was able to move out of the Grand Phoenix & into somewhere much more comfortable on Young & the Restless.
She now has a place to spend time with Connor & the coffee house downstairs to occupy herself as she wants & needs.
When Chelsea was spiraling out of control personally & professionally, she & Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendricksen) took a BFF break. Actually, almost everyone took a break from Chelsea, even Billy Abbott.
Now with Billy’s free time, he’s been more observant & has been there for Chelsea. Chelsea’s latest trauma is just now brand new information to her back on again BFF Chloe.
It seems Lily is jealous of Chelsea. Lily thinks Chelsea fills his thoughts & priorities instead of her. Has Lily forgotten that Billy & Chelsea do have a son together? Lily could not be more insensitive to what Chelsea is going through.
Billy & Lily have been hanging on by a thread for months. Is Lily’s attitude toward Chelsea her way to finally ending her relationship with Billy? How could sweet Lily Winters only claim to be supportive of Chelsea right now but actually be this bitchy with a large side of jealousy?
