Genoa City accommodations include the infamous Genoa City Athletic Club, the Grand Phoenix, & that motel outside of town where only uncover GC residents stay.
In light of the sudden & fake death of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), the shady motel just outside of Genoa City has been shown yet again.
The only thing that the shady motel just outside of Genoa City, Wisconsin has in common with the GCAC & the Grand Phoenix is the lack of management.
Who owns the unnamed & unclaimed motel outside of Genoa City on Young & the Restless?
The last Genoa City resident to check into this motel was Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) when she needed some space. What Abby was really doing was trying to track down her presumed dead husband. Abby managed to track down her husband in Spain while their sperm donor took impromptu care of their son.
No one claims to own the place. No one seems to run the place. Or, ever actually checks anyone into a room…
Out of nowhere, much like Phyllis Summers’ fake death, the Grand Phoenix is being renovated on Young & the Restless.
Why? The Grand Phoenix is beautiful & despite apparently being run by no one, has been doing great.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) bought the Grand Phoenix from Phyllis under the Chancellor Winters umbrella. However, Lily has yet to appoint anyone actually to run the hotel.
An impromptu renovation with hotel guests being forced into relocating would have never happened under Phyllis’s watch.
It was revealed today on Young & the Restless that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) never checked out of the Grand Phoenix.
How is this possible? Somehow the other guests of the Grand Phoenix magically had rooms at the GCAC & their belongings were moved before Phyllis was presumed dead.
Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) is surely never going to find a record of Stark checking into the unnamed & unclaimed motel just outside of Genoa City.
