Y&R’s Summer Skips Divorcing Kyle, 2 Weddings in a Row

Summer skips divorcing Kyle on The Young & the Restless. They haven’t been married or divorced since Hunter King played Summer Newman. Now it’s Allison Lanier’s turn, to (at least) marry Kyle, apparently.

Is Kyle & Summer renewing their vows/getting married again without getting divorced again really necessary?

Hunter King As Summer Married & Divorced Kyle Plenty on Y&R

While Summer & Kyle are not yet competitive numbers-wise with how many times Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) & Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have been married & divorce, it’s apparent they are attempting.

Before Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & Summer Newman (then played by Hunter King) got married in Milan, Kyle was part of some marriage/divorce boomerang with Summer & Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).

Lola needed a kidney. Summer had a spare that matched up. She & Kyle got married. Then they got divorced. Not long after that, it was revealed that Kyle became a father & hadn’t been notified by the married woman, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), he knocked up.

Long story short, this couple managed to get married yet again, but Y&R fans were not invited. Y&R fans did get to see them, however, at Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) & Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi, at the time) wedding in Tuscany.
