Phoebe’s friends on Friends are by far the most unique friends of any other friend on Friends.

Not only are Phoebe’s friends on Friends unique, but they also seem to go MIA after they visit…

Lizzy the Homeless Woman, One of Phoebe’s Friends on Friends

We meet Lizzy the Homeless Woman in Season 1.

While we just meet Lizzy during one episode, it’s apparent that she & Phoebe have had an ongoing relationship & Phoebe watches out for her to some degree.

Then, Phoebe watches out for her & then some…

Phoebe somehow ends up with $500 extra in her bank account. Instead of keeping her mouth shut & spending it or saving it, she lets her bank know about the discrepancy. The bank then places another $500 in her bank account for her honesty & ships her a complementary football phone.

Phoebe decides to gift her unearned $1000 along with the complementary football phone to her friend Lizzy.

While Lizzy questions Phoebe’s gesture, she damn well accepts it but insists on doing something nice for Phoebe in return. A soda is agreed upon as a thank you.

As Phoebe’s luck would have it, she finds a thumb in her soda sponsored by Lizzy. Phoebe of course lets the soda company know. Now she has $7000 of unearned money to disperse.

Phoebe decides to offer Chandler $7000 to stop smoking forever & ever. He takes it & continues to smoke throughout the series here & there when things get stressful.

Something doesn’t seem right here… This perhaps was the most un-friendly thing Chandler was involved in within the series.

Bonnie & Abby | Phoebe Buffay’s Bald Friends on Friends

They made the Hey Dude gal bald!

Who doesn’t remember Melody (played by Christine Taylor) on Hey Dude?

Cute as can be Christine Taylor is brought back to us as Bald-Headed-Bonnie on Friends.

Bonnie is 1 of 2 friends of Phoebe’s that has been bald. Has been bald… very important to Rachel, apparently.

Phoebe asks Rachel if it’s okay if she sets her friend Bonnie with Ross. Rachel is apprehensive at first, but then Phoebe mentions that Bonnie was bald. Rachel is in — no problem.

That’s until Bonnie shows up not bald at all…

Phoebe Buffay on Friends reiterates that she was bald — Was Bald…

Rachel decides to manipulate things a bit referencing Bonnie’s bald look & how it was so great. The next thing we know, Bonnie is bald again with the help of Rachel Green.

Then Ross & Rachel get back together after Bonnie being bald again & 18 pages written by Rachel (front & back).

Then, in almost no time at all, they break up yet again after Ross actually read the 18 pages, front & back.

Abby | Phoebe’s Buffay’s Other Bald Friend on Friends

Seriously, who has 2 bald girlfriends? The answer is Phoebe Buffay.

Unlike Bonnie, however, we never got to meet Phoebe’s bald friend Abby. She was mentioned prior to us meeting Bonnie. Abby was referenced as Phoebe’s bald friend that had a ritual that Phoebe thought might be effective in ridding memories of boyfriends gone bad.

While we never got to meet Abby, we did get to meet the attractive firefighters that had to stop by. This was of course after Abby’s “burning boyfriend’s stuff” ritual got out of hand on Valentine’s Day in Season 1.

The Condom Guy | Frank Jr. | Frank Jr. Jr.

We all remember the Condom Guy… Phoebe was having a not-so-great day after being replaced at the coffee house for a paid musician/singer. She hit the street outside Central Perk to earn a few bucks & a condom. Yes, a condom. For like a minute. That is until the now-known as “Condom Guy” comes back to retrieve said condom. He had an emergency.

Later in Season 2, we meet Condom Guy again, but this time he’s Phoebe’s half-brother, Frank Jr.

Phoebe meeting her half-brother twice on Friends reminds me of Oscar on The Office finding hardwoods twice.

Anyway, Condom Guy quickly became Frank. Jr., the half-brother of Phoebe Buffay. Then Frank Jr. became romantically involved with his former Home-Ec teacher, Mrs. Knight (Alice Knight). Before we know it, Frank Jr. & Mrs. Knight want to have babies & need a surrogate.

Phoebe Buffay ultimately has her brother’s babies — Leslie, Frank Jr. Jr., & Chandler.

Phoebe’s “Roommate” Denise

Do we know if Denise is even real? We never saw her. Did Phoebe ever see her?

Phoebe’s “roommate” Denise was brought to our attention in Season 6.

Monica & Chandler decide to move in together. Rachel finally gets it through her head that this is not a Three’s Company situation & actually does have to move out.

Moving in with Ross didn’t work out so well with him not following through on the annulment after they got married in Vegas & didn’t so much mean to. Or, did they? Per the series finally, most likely.

Anyway, Rachel basically had to move in with Ross. Phoebe had a roommate, Denise. Joey had “Naked Thursdays” as part of his roommate program.

Then somehow, low & behold, Denise has to move out until December 26th leaving an open spot in Phoebe’s apartment for Rachel. Rachel sarcastically wonders if Denise is really Santa Clause.

Phoebe then deeply considers that Denise is really Santa Clause…
