Billy returns to Jabot yet again on Young & the Restless. This development is as tiresome as each time Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) returns to Newman Enterprises.
It might be possible that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) returning to Jabot Cosmetics will be even more boring than his podcast pre-Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Perhaps he’ll land an office with a couch & will catch some inter-office intimacy himself as they do over at Newman…
…& this might happen on The Young & the Restless…
Billy Returns to Jabot Cosmetics Yet Again, More Fast-Forwarding?!?
Each week on social media Young & the Restless fans voice the scenes & storylines that are as boring as Billy Boy’s podcast before Chelsea joined him.
Unfortunately, Y&R fans even more fast-forwarding is in your future.
It’s could not be more clear after Billy Abbott was Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) COO that he has absolutely no business in any C-suite. Sure, Billy looks great in a suit, but he does not belong in a corporate setting.
Most recently, Billy Abbott was successful with his podcast once he added Chelsea. Their banter was fantastic & people were tuning in. Billy’s boss & girlfriend at the time became jealous & put an end to the podcast.
Now both Billy & Chelsea are unemployed & are falling in love.
Billy has an entrepreneurial spirit & the financial resources to dream big & to execute his dreams. Why in the world would Billy Boy go back to Jabot? Y&R fans have seen this movie many times before…
The Same Only Different, Nick Trying to Be Corporate in Genoa City
There is no doubt that Billy’s return to Jabot will be at least as boring as Nick’s return to Newman Enterprises, with the exception of couch sex.
Nick Newman has come & gone from Newman Enterprises the same number of times as Billy Boy, give or take. It does not work…
Correct… It doesn’t work, & neither does Nick.
Up until Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was let go from Newman Media, most of Nick’s time was spent in her office & on her office sofa. Now that Sally is knocked up with his brother Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) baby, he’s spending even more time with the still-unemployed Sally Spectra.
Nick Newman is another entrepreneurial man in Genoa City. He’s tried a variety of different things including real estate, New Hope, a bar/restaurant, & more. The powers that be at Newman Enterprises always find the power to lure Nick back into the family business.
