Seriously, Summer dresses up for work in evening wear now on Young & the Restless?… & she’s now a pushover?? At least Claire & Sally are employed again…
This week’s Weekly #WTF on Y&R…
Once upon a time, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) colluded with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to get Summer Newman (then, Hunter King) out of Genoa City & settled down in Italy to run Marchetti. Sally & Tara’s plan worked about as long as it took for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & his new son Harrison to relocate to Milan to be with Summer after Tara Locke was arrested in GC.
Now Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is CEO of Marchetti now based in Genoa City under the Jabot umbrella. So, was Sally Spectra really that bad? Regardless, Summer is being pushed around by Sally yet again. Summer has hired Sally Spectra as the interim Creative Director when Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is out on leave to take care of her & Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) son Connor.
How long before Sally Spectra cements herself a position with Marchetti or otherwise within Jabot on Y&R?
Hell has frozen over on Young & the Restless. Summer Newman has agreed to hire her new creepy cousin Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to be Harrison’s nanny. Since when is Summer a pushover? What will happen to this new arrangement once Kyle tells Summer that Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) isn’t dead?
Also, as per Kyle Abbott, Harrison is seven years old. Why is this kid not in school? Until summer break, shouldn’t Harrison’s nanny be a part-time position?
Again, what was with Summer Newman wearing evening wear to work? Has she lost her damn mind? Not only did she wear that evening wear ensemble to work, but she also wore it to Crimson Lights before work for a quick coffee with Kyle.
Perhaps it’s time for some athleisure for Summer at Marchetti as it is now trending everywhere.
