Y&R’s Dumb & Dumber are back at it again. Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott has lost her damn mind. Seriously, Y&R fans… Diane Jenkins will be the new Co-CEO of Jabot Cosmetics?!?

Ashley Abbott Has Lost Her Damn Mind, Diane Wins

Dumb & Dumber (Jack Abbott by Peter Bergman & Kyle Abbott by Michael Mealor) are back at it again on Young & the Restless.

Out of almost nowhere, Y&R’s Dumb & Dumber have decided to name Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) as Co-CEO of Jabot Cosmetics. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has no idea. She cannot stop stopping by the Genoa City Athletic Club to get Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to believe her version of what happened in Paris.

How is Ashley not in the loop regarding Diane’s pending promotion all the while living with Jack, Diane, & Kyle inside the Abbott Estate?

The answer(s) is Tucker McCall &/or Ashley’s current mental state.

Jack & Kyle Omit Consulting Anyone, Even Themselves

Actually, it shouldn’t be surprising that Jack & Kyle did not run Diane’s pending promotion by Ashley, let alone Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). Hell, Jack & Kyle didn’t even consult themselves.

It wasn’t long ago that Diane Jenkins was presumed dead & had been living as Taylor Jensen in L.A. Now just as many in Genoa City suspected, Diane has risen to the top being married to Jack Abbott with only some silly post-nup to protect him & now she will be in the Jabot C-suite as well.

Again, like-father-like-son, otherwise known as Y&R’s Dumb & Dumber, Jack & Kyle ascend to another level of being even more dumb.

Without consulting with one another about promoting Diane, Jack & Kyle somehow managed to offer this opportunity to Diane during the same meal at Society. Diane couldn’t have played this C-suite Jabot job offer better. She will be locked in & more…

Jabot & Jack Abbott & What Happens Next with Diane…

Things about Diane Jenkins that have not been confirmed:

• Her home in L.A. where Jack’s son Keemo previously lived in before he supposedly died has been sold.
• Keemo’s death is confirmed. If Diane can fake her death, so can Keemo.
• Allie & her mother/Keemo’s ex-wife are without any ill will.
• Diane has cut all ties with Tucker McCall.

Who is to say that Diane & Tucker are not still working together? While Diane has been playing her part as an Abbott in both a supportive & squeaky-clean fashion, anything can happen in Genoa City.

Also, Y&R’s Dumb & Dumber are not to about wise up anytime soon…
