The Newman & Abbott insanity continues on yet again on Y&R. Doing the same thing & expecting different results is INSANE.
Y&R fans, lets beat the dead horse but first…
WTF was up last week on Young & the Restless with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) summoning all of his VIPs to The Ranch. Victor didn’t leave The Ranch all week.
Yet somehow, this week he made it to Audra Charles’ (Zukleyka Silver) GCAC suite to talk business, & then the insanity…

Has Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) lost her damn mind?
Supposedly she is not dumb but yet thought she could go into business with her ex-husband Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) & it would work well. To top it off it was Sharon’s idea. Then another one of her ex-husbands got involved, Adam’s brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Obviously, it’s not working out as planned. Perhaps it’s because all of these Newmans sold their soul yet again to Victor Newman.
Over on the Abbott side of town, the insanity continues with their family…
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) finally called yet another truce attempting the high road but choked on a grape she threw into her own much with style, & then almost died.
Now Ashley will attempt to make nice yet again & Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is beating himself up & finds himself relating to Adam Newman for his latest insanity.
What’s next?…
Sharon has been married to both Newman brothers multiple times. Heck, Sharon was even briefly married to the Newman brothers father, Victor Newman.
If anyone that is not a blood Newman should know how things shake out with the Newman Family, it should be Sharon.
Sharon should have known that things would not worked out as planned with her latest business venture, yet she went ahead anyway with hope… & now she needs a lawyer.
Well, Sharon things she needs a lawyer & she thinks she should hire Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Again, has Sharon Newman lost her mind? Michael Baldwin is & has been Victor Newman’s on-demand attorney.
What in the world will be accomplished by Sharon hiring Michael Baldwin to get her out of a jam having anything to do with the almighty Victor Newman?
Ashley Abbott almost died this week on behalf of a grape. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) gave her the Heimlich Maneuver & saved her life
…& now it seems Ashley & Diane will attempt to be BFF & Ashley & her brother Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) truce will carry on until Diane pisses her off substantially.
Seriously… The Abbotts & Y&R fans have seen this movie before…
Young & the Restless fans have also seen the Abbott movie featuring Billy Abbott going bad.
Sure, Billy Boy has been doing his best to be on the up & up being Co-CEO with his brother Jack Abbott, but how long was that really going to last?
Now Billy Abbott find himself in a bit of a quandry… Billy Boy Abbott despises both Jack’s new wife Diane & Ashley’s new husband Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Team Jack & Diane have pitted Billy Boy against Team Ashley & Tucker without really knowing when/if Billy will go either way.
Billy confided in his girlfriend Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that he was considering going against Team Jack & Diane & taking Team Ashley & Tucker’s offer to be solo CEO.
Now Billy is absolutely offended that Jack Abbott alluded that Billy would even consider Ashley & Tucker’s offer.
About how long before we see Billy gambling &/or spending time inside that bar outside of town?
Long story short, Young & the Restless is celebrating 50 years along with it’s fans. Despite repeat storylines, Y&R fans continue to keep coming back for more… Even though they may take a pause.
