Lily Winters gets lonely, but not for long on Young & the Restless. Workaholic Lily connects with yet another Chancellor-Winters employee.
This week’s Weekly #WTF on the Y&R…
Finally, the end of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is here. Their relationship has been experiencing a slow & painful death for months.
The timeframe of this relationship basically lines up with Billy & Lily beginning to work together at Chancellor Industries & Billy leaving the newly merged Chancellor Winters.
Lily & Billy were hot early on while they each had their own suite at the Grand Phoenix. Then things were hot on their shared couch in their shared condo on Chesnut Street.
Before long Billy decided to involve himself with the mother of his children’s life to the point of obsession. Billy became obsessed with his ex-wife Victoria Newman (Ameilia Heinle) & her relationship with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi, Robert Newman) that he felt compelled to put on a boring podcast under the C-W umbrella.
Billy Abbott’s podcast could not have been more boring until the addition of Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), another one of Billy’s ex-lovers. Lily enjoyed Billy spending additional time with Chelsea almost as much as she enjoyed Billy being ultra OCD with Victoria & Ashland.
Long story short, once business & the hot couch sex on Chesnut were removed from Billy & Lily’s relationship, their relationship proved to be roommates only in Genoa City.
How convenient… As Lily & Billy finally break up & Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) returns to Genoa City with a pitch that just so happens to flatter Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) & Lily at C-W.
Lily Winters gets lonely, but it doesn’t appear for long…
Not only has Daniel landed his next creative gig at Chancellor Winters, but he’s also provided an open ear to his ex-wife & new boss, Lily Winters. Also, Lily has let Daniel confide in her in regard to his marriage which is not going well or even going on within the same continent at this time.
It seems quite likely that Daniel & Lily will reconnect intimately at least temporarily. This is especially true if Lily moves out of the condo on Chesnut & into the Grand Phoenix where Daniel is currently residing. Also, like with Billy Abbott, she will have business in common with Daniel. That & she knows she & Daniel are hot behind closed doors.
How long do you think it will be before either Lily or Billy relocates to the Grand Phoenix? Regardless, how long do you think it will be before Lily & Daniel continue their journey down memory lane?
