One of two of Cricket’s (Christine Blair by Lauralee Bell) loves of her life is soon returning to Genoa City.
Since it’s common knowledge that there’s nearly no hope of Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) returning to Genoa City ever, it’s Cricket’s love #1 Danny Romalotti (Michael Damien) headed back to GC.
The last time Danny returned to Genoa City, Cricket was the last to know. Danny’s return to Genoa City was revealed via a photo that her ongoing nemesis Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) posted on social media.
How convenient… Cricket has just been summoned by her soon-to-be ex-husband Paul Williams to visit him in Portugal to discuss the end of their marriage… & now Danny Romalotti is due back in Genoa City.
Paul Williams went to Portugal to visit his daughter Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) & his granddaughter Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).
Well, Heather & Lucy are back in Genoa City & are staying in town at least for now.
No matter what happened between Paul & Christine, being summoned to Portugal to discuss the inevitable end to their marriage is simply bull crap. Just when almost everyone was being summoned to The Ranch at Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) beck & call was too much & now this… WOW.
So, does the newly divorced Christine Blair have anything to do with Danny’s return to Genoa City?
40 Years of Cricket, Too Many for Phyllis
Wow… Y&R fans just celebrated 40 years of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), & Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman).
Now we’re celebrating another lady on Y&R who ran in the same circles as Traci & Lauren in Genoa City that happened to include Danny Romalotti…
…& that is Miss Christine Blair by Lauralee Bell… Otherwise known to her nemesis Phyllis Summers as ‘Cricket.’
Yes, Phyllis despises that little bug, Cricket… In the words of Phyllis herself.
It seems that Phyllis is in fact on top of her back & forth with her least favorite bug.
The last time Danny Romalotti returned to Genoa City, Danny paid her much more attention than he did Christine. Phyllis Summers fans LOVED it… But there’s more…
As the District Attorney in Genoa City, Christine Blair lost the state’s case against Phyllis Summers & she is free with a side of probation & community service.
50 Years of Y&R & 40 Years of Cricket
Young & the Restless just celebrated 50 years. Both Christine/Cricket made it along with several other notable Genoa City residents.
(2) notables… Danny Romalotti made it & Phyllis Summers keeled over & later supposedly died.
Who’s anniversary will Young & the Restless fans be celebrating next?
What will really happen when Danny returns to Genoa City? Will Danny gravitate towards Christine or Phyllis?
Some Y&R fans would say that Danny will have some choice words for Phyllis since her return from the dead & with Cricket not being able to put her in the clink.
