Victoria Newman’s One-Sleeve Dress (Y&R): Make it Stop NOW

Victoria Newman’s One-Sleeve Dress… This wasn’t her first one & as this style is trending in Genoa City it clearly will not be her last.

However, she’s been wearing this one (shall we call it crimson?) for a LONG time… & after learning her husband lied about his cancer diagnosis & stayed in a hotel to get some space.

Perhaps some Athleisure would have been a better choice, Victoria.

There Was A Sale on 1-Sleeve Dresses at Fenmore’s, Apparently on Y&R…

Apparently, there was a sale at Fenmore’s…

Victoria has been totally dominating the new 1-Sleeved dress trend in Genoa City & she’s not the only one.

While all of these beautiful women can totally pull off this trend, they still do reside in Genoa City, WI. Yes, Wisconsin. The Upper Midwest! Perhaps a dress trend that involves two sleeves, a cute belt & some jewelry… & maybe some tights & boots.

Athleisure on The Young & the Restless: A Missed Opportunity

Victoria Newman has been wearing the same crimson dress with just 1 sleeve since March 25th. Today is April 9th.

Yes, soap opera time is not the same as real life time, but damn. This woman has been wearing this dress for a LONG time.

Not only has she been wearing this dress with only 1-sleeve dress not only in the Upper Midwest during the months of March & April, but also after confirmation that her husband of less than one year lied about his cancer diagnosis & treatment. Also, just after she stayed in a hotel after learning more of Ashland’s lies.

A) Which hotel did she stay in? It seems like we would have been made aware if she stayed at the Grand Phoenix. Also, we still can’t figure out if the GCAC is actually open or really has been closed.

B) How does one decide to pack a dress with 1 sleeve for an impromptu overnight & work the following day in any case?

C) If one’s mom that is a close confidant is that same one’s COO, why not say you need a half-day, or a day, or work remotely?

D) How about some Athleisure? One can still look professional these days while wearing garments that are much more suitable for winters in Wisconsin & days after being deceived by one’s husband.

Victoria Newman’s One-Sleeve Dress & What Happens Next on Y&R…

Chelsea & Chloe clearly have an opportunity to bring Athleisure into Fenmore’s. While it’s almost certain that casual-day or wearing Athleisure to work will not catch on daily for the Genoa City Elite, why not once in a while? Maybe for Sharon, for instance, when she is managing Crimson Lights. She went through a prom dress/formal dress faze for a while & it simply was not right.

Otherwise, Diane Jenkins is still back from the dead. Phyllis has seen it to believe it & Kyle is up next.

Related… If Harrison comes back to Genoa City with Kyle, will he meet Diane (his grandmother, we guess)? How will Ashland react? He’s got himself into quite a pickle as of late.

Hell, may as well bring back Tara Locke & Jesse Gaines to further mix things up…
