Y&R: Devon Hamilton Now Winters, Director of Name Changes

Devon Hamilton now Winters continues to be a pain to Young & the Restless fans but has somehow won over those already with the last name Winters.

Devon Hamilton Now Winters, Everything Is Always About Him

Do we finally have an explanation as to why a follow-up celebration of Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John) in such short order? This celebration was Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) idea & he had his latest live-in girlfriend plan it on a whim. Related… Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) was thanked approximately 72 times it seemed like by the guests of this celebration.

It’s probably safe to say that Abby has shortened her name to Abby Newman & has let go of the charade of being Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor. Cricket (Lauralee Bell) and no other Genoa City lawyer have confirmed Abby & Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) divorce, but it seems like they’re done.

Now Devon has taken it upon himself to have another event to celebrate Neil. The event wraps up with Devon announcing that moving forward he will be going by Devon Winters.

Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor, Too Many Last Names

Thinking back, wasn’t it strange when Devon requested that the last name Winters be included in baby Dom’s name? Obviously, he was claiming his biological rights that aren’t usually available to a sperm donor. However, why didn’t Devon request that Hamilton be added to Dominic’s last name & not Winters?

Perhaps he had a plan all along…

Isn’t it interesting how Abby & Dom now live with Devon & everyone in Genoa City is on board & supportive?

Another Name Change for Abby Newman Coming Soon?

Devon is now responsible for a third name change on Young & the Restless & Dominic is still a toddler since this all ensued.

Now Devon, Abby, & Dom are playing house inside Devon’s penthouse & everything is fabulous.

Will Devon & Abby be the next couple to get married on Y&R? If so, will Abby seriously start going by Abby Newman-Abbott-Winters?

It seems that Devon & Abby are in fact meant for one another. The couple sincerely believes that everyone & everything revolves around both of them.
