Y&R Fan Rant: Who Wore Sparkle Better in GC on NYE

NYE is upon us on Young & the Restless & almost all of the fabulous ladies of Genoa City who were out & about sparkled, but who sparked best? Let’s take a look at GC on NYE!…

Let’s rant, Young & the Restless fans!!…

The Most Fabulous 3rd Wheel on Y&R, GC on NYE

Every Young & the Restless fan’s favorite Aunt Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) was all dressed up with nowhere to go for NYE in GC until her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) & his wife Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) jumped in & invited her along to the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge.

Traci could not have had a better time out with Jack & Diane despite being without her new beau, Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Christopherson) who got stuck in the snow at East after a speaking assignment. Traci was able to catch up with the also fabulous Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) & her other dear friends Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) & Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).

Phyllis & Her Not-So-Sparkling Personality Still Sparkled

Even the most loyal of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) fans are going bonkers listening & watching to her carry on all over Genoa City on Y&R since Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) sudden death. There’s no doubt that there is good reason to very upset with all of this, but there are more Y&R fans than not saying she’s being over the top.

Regardless, Phyllis Summers was sparkling & stunning as always, too bad her demeanor during the NYE event at the GCAC jazz club wasn’t as sparkling as her gown.

Across Town at Society, Without Sparkles There Isn’t Fun

Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) was also stunning in her sparkling gown, although her gown was a bit reminiscent of a Mermaid. In any case, no matter what Abby’s last name is when almost anything she puts on looks fabulous as she is that beautiful.

Abby’s new husband Devon Winters (Bryton James) was her date at Society while her new General Manager Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) was running the show. Tessa was running the show until out of nowhere she felt lightheaded. At this time, only Young & the Restless fans know that Tessa’s new favorite Society guest Warren Masters who is really Ian Ward played by Ray Wise poisoned her water bottle.

Although Tessa was also stunning on NYE at Society, she wasn’t sparkling. Perhaps if she were sparkling, she wouldn’t have been targeted. Not so much. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) was as sparkling as ever & targeted at the NYE evening buzzer by Aunt Jordan on the command of her new accomplice, Ian Ward.
