Nate & Elena Split & It’s Not Even Imani’s Fault on Y&R
For months Imani has been pining for Nate in public on Young & the Restless. Her lust for Nate has been a secret to no one. Her feelings for Nate Hastings may have well been put on the Genoa City News.
Despite Nate being in a serious relationship with Elena that has included living with her for several months, he’s not pushed Imani back at all. Whatever Imani is selling, Nate is buying.
Elena has grown more & more annoyed with Imani’s obsession with Nate. Even Imani’s half-sister Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has caught on & has attempted to put Imani in her place.
It seems the combination of persistence & being in the right place at the right time will land Imani a spot in his bed, but for how many occurrences?…
Nate in Genoa City, In Cahoots with Victoria & Soon in Bed on Y&R?
Now for the reason Nate Hastings & Elena ended their relationship, Nate switched professional teams.
Nate has had it & then some with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at the newly merged Chancellor Winters.
To re-cap, not long after Devon paralyzed Nate via a fight after Nate & Elena slept together when Elena was still sleeping with Devon, Nate was hired on at CW as COO.
Since Chancellor Industries & Hamiton Winters merged to be CW, it’s been nothing short of a shit show.
It’s apparent that even after Devon more than got back at Nate for sleeping with Elena he’s still holding a grudge. Nothing that Nate does or says meets Devon’s expectations.
Now Nate is looking elsewhere… Across town… Victoria Newman & Newman Enterprises…
Let’s peel the onion… a red/purple one like the color of the shirt or jacket that Nate Hastings most often wears.
Nate Hamilton Versus Devon Hamilton on Y&R
Initially, Nate shares with Victoria that things aren’t great at Chancellor Winters & he might be open to something else. Victoria politely brags about her new acquisitions at Newman Enterprises & discloses that she may not have a role suited for him yet at this time.
Next, Nate gets pushed further away from Devon on CW & begins brainstorming his professional future. Nate becomes creative & shares his ideas with Elena. Elena is not on board.
As of late, Nate has entertained the idea of remaining on the inside at Chancellor Winters to have the inside scoop on the company going public. Nate’s unwritten proposal includes him providing Victoria with enough information to become a majority shareholder, gain control of CW, & appoint Nate as CEO.
If things go to Nate’s plan & he & Elena do split up, he will end up spending plenty of time with Victoria sharing CW inside info. Will sparks fly? Imani can’t keep herself from being just a few steps behind Nate. Will Nate double dip personally & spend time with Imani when he’s faking at CW & then time with Victoria when he’s giving her the CW inside scoop? Thoughts??
